I hit minumum yesterday after a difficult fight to gain words. This high word goal is hellish to keep up, but I’m not going to give up. Ask’s story still needs to be told, and who better to tell it than the person he’s spent nearly a year yelling at? I couldn’t thrust this task on anyone– even if it is hard, it’s also a joy to write.
… So I keep telling myself even as I tell Ask to make up his mind whether or not he’s delusional for his infirmity, the little shit.
Moving on, let’s explore another resource!
This one’s an interesting resource. Instead of names and information, it’s a font of sound that’s scientifically-proven to increase creative productivity. Specifically– it sounds like a coffee shop, and it’s eery how accurate it is. Several times while using it yesterday, I was surprised to look over my screen and not see the warm-colored walls of The Daily Grind, and the smell of coffee was completely absent, replaced by bird breath and dog farts.
In addition to a quiet playlist, this is ideal for writing spurts. Just make sure to hit play about ten minutes before you start writing, lest you shwuck your feng.
